Who We Are
Our Story
ST started in 2019 as a formwork crew and has grown into a structural subcontractor with its own crews for every stage of the frame. Builders bring us in to take the structure off their hands: we set out, form, reinforce and pour, coordinate with the builder and other trades, and hand over clean, inspection-ready work on program. Recent work includes the full structure of a six-storey apartment building and a nine-storey office building, each over two basement levels, plus premium duplexes and residences across Sydney.
Our Crews
33 people on our own crews: a 12-person formwork crew (6 carpenters and 6 assistants), 12 steel fixers and 9 concreters. Because formwork, steel fixing and concrete all sit with ST, one company is responsible for the whole structure, with fewer hand-offs between trades, less waiting on the next subcontractor and one point of contact for the builder.
What We Stand For
On time: we plan each pour around the builder's program and keep crews on site until the job is done. To plan: we work from the engineer's drawings and check set-out before every pour. Done right: clean concrete, straight edges, tidy sites and work that passes inspection the first time.

NSW Builder Licence 332773C. ABN 85 631 845 577. Member of the Master Builders Association of NSW. $20 million public liability insurance. Operating since 2019.
Tony Shao, Director
Tony holds a Master of Construction Project Management from UNSW and is a licensed NSW builder. He runs ST's projects day to day and is the builder's main contact from quote to handover. Tony speaks English and Chinese. Call him on 0426 096 518.
